Testing the applied welding technology, welding equipment and every lot of welding materials can be done by manufacturing and subsequently testing the welded blind samples. As a result of the testing, the mechanical properties of the welded joint and the metal of the weld can be determined and, if they are consistent with process regulations, further welding may be authorized. The testing of samples may be done by order of OJSC "Volgmost" by certified laboratories.
